
Greg Dahlberg has over 35 years of experience in Washington serving at senior levels of the Legislative Branch, the Executive Branch, and in corporate America.
Corporate
Greg currently serves on the Board of Directors at Leidos Holdings, Inc., first elected in 2016. He chairs the Board’s Technology and Information Security Committee and sits on the Board’s Audit and Finance Committee. Between 2002 and 2015 Greg held senior executive positions at Lockheed Martin Corporation. This included eight years as Senior Vice President heading the prestigious Washington Operations unit responsible for developing and implementing Lockheed Martin’s government relations and Washington marketing strategies for all major keep sold, capture, advocacy, marketing and education activities involving Congress, cabinet department and agencies, the White House, embassies, governors, mayors, industry associations, think tanks, labor unions and other interest groups. His portfolio routinely covered 80 to 100 corporate issues across the corporation every year.
Congress
Prior to his tenure at Lockheed Martin, Greg served at senior levels on the House Appropriations Committee staff for over 23 years (1977 thru 2000) specializing in defense, intelligence, transportation and budget process issues. This included seven years as Democratic staff director for the House Defense Appropriations Subcommittee under Rep. John P. Murtha.
Executive Branch
Greg has over 5 years of experience at high levels in the Executive Branch including being confirmed by the Senate as the 26th Under Secretary of the Army under President Clinton in 2000/2001. He also was appointed Acting Secretary of the Army in the early months of the George W. Bush administration.
Other
Greg operates a small consulting firm called “Dahlberg Strategic”, with clients ranging from several S&P 500 defense firms to small start-up companies. Greg grew up in the Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota area.
