Andrew Briggs is Chief Innovation Officer at LocatorX, focusing on leveraging technologies such as nanochips and artificial intelligence to improve supply chain traceability.

Briggs is Emeritus Professor of Nanomaterials at the University of Oxford, where he was elected in 2022 to the newly created Chair of Nanomaterials. His research interests focus on materials and techniques for quantum technologies and their incorporation into practical devices.

He has amassed over 650 publications, with over 27,500 citations, throughout his career, and he was elected an Honorary Fellow of the Royal Microscopial Society for his innovations.
